Mining User Reviews from Mobile Applications for Software Evolution
Guzman Julio Ortega, Adriana Emitza · 2015
Application distribution platforms allow users to write reviews about downloaded applications. Recent studies found that these reviews contain information that is useful for software evolution. However, the large amount of reviews, its unstructured nature and varying quality limits its use. In this thesis we address these challenges by automatically summarizing, classifying, visualizing and retrieving user reviews from mobile applications. An evaluation of the described approaches showed that the presented approaches could be useful during software evolution.
