Global sensitivity criteria and Haar wavelet in smart grid modeling
Mikhail Simonov · 2017
This is a work in progress on smart grid modeling aimed to support real time decentralized control of inertia-less forms of energy. Author discusses about the special steady-state case when the energy is converted at a rate of work described locally by a linear function. Author adopts the discrete wavelet transforms in order to infer about the associated derivative-based criteria. New workflow starts from the event-based measurements of energy. Computational process generates Step- and Delta-functions that model the energy transforming process. Wavelet approach maps them to a simplified derivative model then. In new model, the meaning of the demand of power is associated with a sequence of quantities demanded, a linearized stepwise Càdlàg function.
