Load balancing regions mechanism in multiple spanning tree protocol

In the MSTP protocol, VLANs are manually attached to individual regions. This can lead to disproportion in the load of the main switches for individual regions and contribute to the problems associated with power and cooling. This article presents two proposals of solving this problem: one based on an external server and one dedicated directly to the switches.
