Multi-staged virtualization for embedded systems

A flexible toolbox for embedded multi-staged virtualization is proposed. The toolbox is intended for system integrators, who could compose new system software by simply mirroring the requirements of the employed applications with the toolbox components. I/O virtualization is identified as an open issue for an implementation of the toolbox and suggested as future work.
