Explorations of Teaching Modes in College Mental Health Curriculums

College mental health courses have been one of the central methods to realize the goal of mental health education. It has been made into three aspects involving knowledge, application and instrument throughout the curriculum of psychological health, implementing knowledge grasp, skill application and problem solving skills. Contents aim to integrate theoretical knowledge and experimental practice, dividing into theoretical and practical application. Methods, integrated and advanced with the times, emphasize more attention to the first and second class cohesions. It has been used multiple means as role playing, literary appreciation, case discussion, group teaching and group counseling in the class. As the notion of comprehensive development, evaluations were combined with formative assessment with final examination scores, which constitute the total achievements of usual results, practical performances, group teaching scores and final examination tests. It has achieved excellent effects on both teachers and students, as a result with high enhancement of self-initiative.
