Determining deep hole trees of generalized Reed-Solomon codes and an application

Deep holes play an important role in decoding generalized Reed-Solomon codes. In this paper, we consider determining deep hole trees of generalized Reed-Solomon codes and its applications. Firstly, we describe expected deep holes of generalized Reed-Solomon codes in an explicit way based on Newton interpolation. Then, we apply conclusions about expected deep holes to give a result on restricted sumset.
