Integration of Numerical Simulation Approaches in the Virtual Development of Automotive Antenna Systems

The focus of the presented investigations is related to automotive antennas for a wide frequency band starting from 20 kHz up to 6 GHz. Different numerical methods are compared and validated to present a solution for virtual antenna development. Furthermore, important details for antenna system and antenna environment modeling are presented. Furthermore, Valuable computation time can be saved as shown in this work by choosing adequate algorithms.
