Review of metric learning with transfer learning

Metric learning and Transfer Learning are all the active brunches of machine learning, which focus on different domains. Last ten years, the combine of them was obviously increasing. This review discusses the current algorithms, which combine the transfer learning and metric learning. We introduce the generalized transfer learning and the brunches with different learning sets of it, which are mostly linked to the multi-task learning and domain adaptation. For every brunch related to the metric learning task, we compare the transfer learning algorithm with the related ones in metric learning.
