A flexible data processing framework for heterogeneous processing environments: RF Network-on-Chip™
Martin Braun, Jonathon Pendlum · 2017
FPGA development can be time-consuming. Tools to simplify and accelerate development include frameworks, which allow developers to focus on their core problems, and provide pre-built solutions for recurring problems. RF Network-on-chip (RFNoC) is such a framework. It allows developers to integrate existing IP into more complex systems, involving both software and FPGA components, with little overhead. RFNoC is primarily developed for the Universal Software Radio Peripheral (USRP) family of products, but its source code is freely available.
