Image Analysis Using Radial Bi-Tchebichef Moments

On the basis of the discrete Tchebichef polynomials, a new set of radial Bi-Tchebichef moments were presented. The calculation of new moments adopts images in square to images in discrete grids, and presents a new radial Tchebichef orthogonal vector set. Experimental results indicate that the proposed moments have good performance in image reconstruction and computing efficiency.
