Ritchie, with a group of researchers working at Bell Laboratories, also created a compiler for C. Unlike B, the C language is equipped with an extensive collection of standard types. In 1973, the new version of UNIX was released in which more than 90 percent of the source code of UNIX was rewritten in C, which added to its portability. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
