Watermarking is a process of hiding digital information into a digital file such that it cannot be accessed except using a keyword or a password. Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) is a watermarking method defined in the frequency domain where a finite sequence of data point is expressed in terms of a sum of cosine function oscillating at different frequencies. Simulation result shows that for the chosen digital file (image data), DCT generates a robust digital watermark against a rotation noise that rotated at 1 degree. Moreover, DCT is also robust to the salt & pepper noise with intensity 0,8. However, the robustness of this digital watermark is fail when scalling noise is embedded to the image data.
