The Natural Partial Orders on wpp Semigroups 1

In this paper, we investigate a kind of partial orders on wpp semi-groups, which are the very generalizations of ones studied by Lawson [Proc. Edinburgh Math. Soc., 30(1987), 169-186]. After giving some characterizations and properties, we determine when the partial orders are compatible with respect to the multiplication.
