Design of a climate monitoring system based on sensor network

In this work we present an advanced architecture conception of weather monitoring system which is able to manage and store sensors data stream in real time. In our system, we use Web services techniques, CloudMQTT, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Geographic Information System (GIS) to monitor measurements and generate real-time alerts in the event of an emergency. To ensure the capacity of the system, several strategies are proposed in the application architecture; we focused on the performance of our system in terms of useful information extraction, real time viewing events and data recording in spatio temporal database. Thus, we propose a monitoring application based on Rich Internet Application (RIA) which is presented for climate control and remote monitoring.
