A three-dimensional view of reuse in Service Oriented Architecture

The reuse in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) has been used strategically in organizations to reduce development costs and increase the quality of applications. This article reports a qualitative research realized with experts in order to identify goals, barriers, facilitators, strategies, metrics and benefits associated with reuse in SOA. The results were summarized in three dimensions (management, architecture, operation) and represented by a conceptual model that can serve as a preliminary roadmap to manage the reuse in SOA.
