Neural Network Approach for Reusable Component Handling

Organizing different components collected for effective retrieval and search process, has become the fundamental problem in software reuse. It should be noted that both retrieval techniques and representations are interrelated. Component Based Software can be helpful in achieving software quality enhancement along with efficiency analysis. Neural network has been an active research area which can be applied to various fields and only a few have tried the combination of Neural Networks applied to software engineering in identifying suitable reusable components. The paper tries to throw some light on the research carried out in application of neural networks for identifying reusable components and also proposes a new model for the same.
