In this work the design and implementation of an electrogoniometer is described. Its design is based on a precision potentiometer as a transduction element. The output signal from potentiometer was conditioned and then it was digitalized and processed by means of Arduino-UNO platform. This hardware system together with a graphical interface developed constitutes the electrogoniometer. Elbow flexion-extension movement was measured in order to validate the design. A mean error of 3 % was reached in comparison to conventional goniometer.
