Defining the relevant perceptual quality space for video and video-telephony

This paper reports the further investigation of the perceptual quality space for video degradations. A study was conducted to explore the space using a Paired Comparison (PC) test paradigm with a subsequent Multidimensional Scaling (MDS). This paper presents the test set-up as well as the analysis of the results. Furthermore, this paper reports the conclusions to further understand, diagnose, and analyse the perceptual quality space of video degradations mainly in the domain of video-telephony.
