Development of AHCI Driver Based on Vxbus For the Massive Storage Module

The traditional IDE driver can' t effectively support data transfer of SATA disks and advanced features of the SATA protocol.After studying the device driver framework (Vxbus),researching on the principles of real-time operating system VxWorks 6.8 and analyzing the AHCI protocol,a AHCI driver for the Massive Storage Module is implemented.The AHCI driver added to the VxWorks system image in the form of components maintains the independence of the drive.The test results of the driver shows that the AHCI driver greatly enhances the transmission speed of the mass storage module,and are worthy of using abroad.
