A Preliminary Assessment for Inshore Fishing UAV (ISFUAV)

This paper presents an assessment of what is needed to develop the inshore fishing UAV (ISFUAV) capable of flying from the seashore over the sea for a distance of 500 meters to one kilometer before the onboard gripper releases the fish food attached to the fish hooks for catching fish. The duration of the aircraft flight will last for about 20 minutes minimum. The aircraft will be equipped with many sensors for safety navigation including vision system.
