2P1-E18 Resource management and task control in Intelligent Space

Ryuhei Sakurai, Joo‐Ho Lee · The Proceedings of JSME annual Conference on Robotics and Mechatronics (Robomec) · 2006

In this research, we propose a method to provide practical services in Intelligent Space (iSpace). For example, if someone wants to watch Star Wars, iSpace can show it controlling DVD player, PDF, sound system etc., or configuring these connections according to need. We assume these services as sequential task processing that is cooperative use of the resources within our environment. Where, resource means general electronics that have certain functions or robots. Therefore, we discuss the method of resource management, task control and how to perform them in Intelligent Space.
