Calculation program by the velocity potential theory was made in order to predict the sound radiation from golf club. Modal property is obtained by the finite element method, and velocity potential from each element is piled up from the frequency component of exciting force in search of the velocity of the surface. The sound radiation from the simple shape board agreed in experiment and calculation. The problem remains for sound radiation prediction from the golf club.
