A METHOD OF CALCULATING SAMPLING ERRORS.
Reed,T. D., Lloyd,J. W. · Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) · 1969
Errors are introduced when an analog signal is reconstructed from its sample values. These errors are due to the aliasing effect, and to distortion of the data spectrum by the interpolation filter. Methods for calculating the errors are described and computer results obtained for the case where both the data spectrum and the interpolation filter characteristic are of the Butterworth form. The computer programs, which are in FORTRAN IV, have been written so that they can readily be adapted to cater for other cases. (Author)
