20517 Estimate of Enhancement Techniques for Large Scale Meshes Based on Crash Analysis

Technology of mesh generation is indispensable not only in CAE such as structure analysis and fluid analysis but also CAD, surface reconstruction and rapid prototyping such as stereo lithography. Elements of a mesh near to a regular polygon or a regular polyhedron are more preferable in CAE analysis. Now, we can get the mesh immediately even to the large scale model in one click. But sometimes in such mesh generation stage, meshes which have elements with distorted shape are produced. Until now there has been no suitable system to treat such problems hence it takes much time to repair the mesh since they are modified by man-powers. In this talk, we give estimates of our mesh enhancement techniques for large scale modes.
