A computation using Unstructured mesh is suitable for a flow field with complicated shaped boundaries. In particular, a polyhedral mesh is more flexible and efficient for mesh generation. Thus, in this paper, a new solution adaptive mesh method combined with a polyhedral mesh is proposed. In this method, meshes based on pressure distribution are generated and divided like a super-polyhedral mesh. An algorithm with generated and divided meshes is discussed and confirmed in this paper. The method is applied to supersonic flow with shock wave to show a efficiency of computation.
