2302 Comparative Study on the Differential Evolution

In this paper, Differential Evolution (DE) is examined through benchmark test problems. DE is one of the population-based global optimization techniques. The DE is also suitable for the continuous design variables, so that the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and the Adaptive Range Particle Swarm Optimization (ARPSO) are used to compare the serarch abilities.
