On Real-Time Operating Systems.

Abstract : This paper reviews the requirements for a distributed fault tolerant real time operating system. Various aspects, in addition to scheduling, are analysed to emphasize the importance of developing such operating systems separately, rather than modifying or building on top of regular ones.
