11201 Improvement of Impact Sound with the Golf Club

The purpose of our research is development of CAE tool to design the agreeable sound golf club. Therefore, the radiation sound forecast program was made. Program was created using modal analysis theory and superposition theory of velocity potential. As a result, the impact sound of the golf club was forecasted. In past studies, the sound was almost identical. Sound was calculated for each frequency by the program. Simple sensory test was performed. As a result, one of the guidelines of the study was decided.
