THE abc CONJECTURE IMPLIES THE WEAK DIVERSITY CONJECTURE

We show that the abc Conjecture implies the Weak Diversity Conjecture of Bilu and Luca. In addition, we unconditionally reduce the Weak Diversity Conjecture to the case of cyclic covers of prime order.
