Abstract : Corps level operations monitoring is characterized in terms of plan representations, current situation appraisals and representation, identifying variances between the two, and identifying opportunity and risk situations. A mixed-initiative operations monitoring assistant (OMA) system is designed that combines operations research, artificial intelligence, and human reasoning techniques and constructs.
