Most corporations and organizations are looking for ways to utilize their network infrastructure and resources in the most cost effective manner. Cloud computing provides the ability for organizations to use computing resources provided by other organizations over the Internet as a service. This allows a company to utilize the resources from a cloud provider on a pay-per-usage model where the costs are determined by the actual allocation and usage of the resources. While the popularity of cloud computing solutions continue to rise, inclusion of cloud computing topics, such as design, implementation, and usage of these platforms is difficult to incorporate into the undergraduate curriculum.
