In Chapter 1 we covered some of the basics of JavaScript. We delved quite deep into a few of the concepts that people struggle with when learning the language. We didn’t really address the language as a whole, though, which is what we’ll do now. In this chapter we’ll dive into the details we glossed over in Chapter 1 and get to the nuts and bolts of the language. We’ll also discuss some of the things we touched on in Chapter 1 in more detail. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
