Computer-Aided Negotiation of Water Resources Issues in California's Central Valley Project
Dean Randall, Daniel P. Sheer, Harold Meyer · 1989
The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation operates the Central Valley Project (CVP) in California. The CVP is a large system of streams, reservoirs and canals in California's Sacramento and San Joaquin River valleys that is used to supply water to a large number of municipal, industrial and agricultural users. This paper describes how Computer-aided Negotiation is being used to help analyze water supply problems and resolve disputes among the users in two portions of the system.
