Multi-carrier CDMA technique is more attractive in wireless communication system. It can support the effect of frequency diversity with higher spectral efficiency. In this paper, pilot symbol structure is proposed to estimate channel parameters for MC-CDMA system and we analyze the performance of MUI cancellation for MC-CDMA using received pilot symbol. The receiver first demodulates the received signal to produce the initial data and the channel estimates. Based on these estimates, the cancellation scheme essentially creates replicas of the CCI and removes them for a second improved data decision. The results show the considerably large improvement in performance that can be attained by the cancellation scheme with pilot symbol aided channel estimation.
