India's heritage in literature and language is richest in the world. Many language where spoken in India in ancient times but some of them become extinct other remained important. Hindi and English are some important language for India. So recognition of this language is a great field for research. English character recognition and segmentation has been studied in last many year and progressed to a certain level and become sufficient for building technology driven system but same is not done in case of Hindi language because of its difficult computations and structure. Some work has been done in case of Hindi character recognition but not for Hindi numeric character, so I have choose this field for my research paper.
