Summary Curvature obtained using conventional seismic attribute extraction method attribute can describe the actual work area the main faults and cracks, and on the formation of micro-fracture characterization of Stratigraphic discontinuity could not be clearer. The method research by GST methods and principles of graphic images were the most positive and most negative curvature properties of extracts. Results found that the methods used in this study results can show a very good not only the actual coal-bed methane mainly three major faults in the area F1, F2, F3, and better make up for defects associated cracks cannot be identified by conventional methods, clear description of the formation is caused by continuous micro-cracks outline and trend. Meanwhile, deflection of the subsurface structure has good characterization, to delineate coal seam gas-rich region with a favorable geophysical basis.
