Programming the prisoners' dilemma problem

Motivation The Prisoners' Dilemma problem is the classical introductory example in game theory, which involves logical/rational reasoning and decision-making in the setting of a game-playing. Due to the intriguing nature of this problem, programing it (as computer code) may provide a nifty opportunity for students to enhance their problem-solving ability and sharpen some essential programming skills (in Java).
