Finite Element Computations on a Linear Systolic Array
Kincho H. Law, Steven W. Hammond · 1989
This paper describes a linear systolic architecture designed specifically for finite element computations. Examples of various sparse matrix and vector operations are given. Applications of the systolic engine for the conjugate gradient method for solution of linear system of equations and the Jacobi method for eigenvalue problems are presented.
