National primary standard unit of electrical resistance

The works on improvement of the primary measurement standard of the unit of electrical resistance held in the NSC «Institute of Metrology» are considered. It is shown that the main results are the including of the equipment for reproduction of the unit of resistance based on quantum Hall effect to the composition of the measurement standard as well as the significant improvement of the accuracy and the expansion of resistance range. The principles of construction of the measurement standard, its hardware implementation, the methodology of the study are shown. The prospects for further improvement of the measurement standard are analyzed.
