With the prompt advancement and widespread selection of wireless sensor networks (WSNs), security has grown a frequently noticeable problem. To establish a session key in sensor node communication is a challenging job for WSNs. Key exchange and group key transfer protocols based on trusted key distribution center can be applied for the network infrastructures with fixed topology. But these protocols are impractical for large scale distributed mobile adhoc networks. This is mainly because of the limitation in communication range, limited battery power in sensors and unknown mobile adhoc network's physical toplology prior to deployment. The traditional key pre-distribution solutions are infeasible to practically apply in large scale mobile sensor networks. In this paper, we have presented a key management scheme for large scale distributed mobile sensor nodes based on probabilistic key distribution. Our scheme verifies the presence of adversaries inside the network by using Set membership queries of Bloom filter. Our scheme also exploits the Bloom filter to authenticate the communication sensor node.
