A Reliable Big Data Transmission Algorithm for Space Information Network
Rong Geng, Xiaojie Wang, Ning Ye · 2016
With the further development and utilization of space resource, space communications nowadays are increasingly becoming irreplaceable networking technologies for high-resolution earth observation, satellite navigation and deep space exploration where big data is produced. This has created great challenges in ensuring the security and reliability of some sensitive data. In order to solve some problems in big data communication, a secure and reliable big data communication scheme based on network coding for space information network is proposed. The algorithm selects multipaths and transmits data in parallel according to the requirements of network reliability to increase the data transmission redundancy. The source and destination nodes carry on randomly linear network coding and decoding. The intermediate nodes use intra-flow and inter-flow network coding. Simulation results indicate that the proposed scheme can significantly improve throughput performance compared to conventional scheme.
