Image inpainting based on Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) technique

Sparse based inpainting method is proposed using Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) technique based on finding the region pixel, calculating pixel priority and normalizing the inpaint region boundary. The proposed method is used for removal of degraded or damaged part in an images, text removal, object or stamp removal. The proposed method gives excellent results when image is of larger dimension with reduction in computation time as compared to ordinary methods.
