Performance evaluation of MANET protocols: A propagation model perspective

This paper presents performance evaluation of AODV, AOMDV, DSDV and DSR protocols in three different propagation model perspective: two ray ground, shadow and Nakagami. Simulation performance evaluation is carried out in two different scenarios and 95 percentile results are reported considering nine replications. Results indicate that protocols have maintained their basic characteristics across different scenarios but with significant variations when the influence of different propagation models is considered.
