Clock synchronization over bluetooth

Having synchronized system clocks among wireless nodes is critical for many applications. Although two communicating Bluetooth chips will synchronize with each other in time precisely, the application-layer program often cannot access such physical layer information to synchronize the clocks of the host devices. This project aims at developing application-layer clock synchronization approaches for Bluetooth devices. Challenges including dynamic packet transmission delays in Bluetooth communications need to be addressed to achieve high accuracy in synchronizing the nodes’ system clocks.
