Analysis of metrics: Improved hybrid ACO-PSO based routing algorithm for mobile ad-hoc network
Harkirat Kaur, Shivani Sharma · 2016
A mobile ad hoc network is a contiguously self-composing and self-monitoring network which consists of mobile devices that are connected by the mode of a wireless medium. Each and every device has the liability to move freely about the whole network, this free movement in turn causes frequent change of links among the nodes. Each node has the capability of acting as a router when needed. This paper is concerned with the re-routing based hybrid ACO-PSO based routing algorithm for MANETs. This algorithm improves the performance of the network. The algorithm is modeled and implemented using MATLAB 2013a tool along with the assistance of data analysis toolbox. The contrast is made between the existing and the proposed technique. The contrast results have clearly shown that the proposed algorithm delivers the better performance for the mobile ad-hoc network.
