Financial Simulation Using Distributed Computing Technology

This paper describes a JavaTM based and Internet-based simulation prototype for financial decision making. JavaTM was selected for software development because of the ease with which one could write code for complicated purposes and because of the security it provides while running across different platforms. The simulation game Robastrat was developed to show how distributed computing technology helps in building efficient and effective user-friendly simulation applications using JavaTM.
