Trust is the matter of reliance by which one can share information to other for specific task. Trust management gives the schematic survey of trustworthy path selection across mobile ad hoc network. This trustworthiness depends on the reliance of trusted path selection and trust management hierarchy. The trust management is the open area in terms of mobile ad hoc networks, to establish trust across all administrative domains of the communicated networks. The trust may be defined in the terms of mutual cooperation, overall reputation, reliability index, friendship mechanism and various other facts which can ensure availability of overall trust coefficient across participating mobile nodes. The trust management protocols can distinguish its inception and its utility with efficacy. This paper covered all aspects of trust management and trust establishment across mobile networks. The conjunction of secure multi-party computation can give revolutionary implications towards trust findings and its applicability inside MANET. The SMC protocols derived various key facts in terms of privacy preservation while working with multiple communicating parties and privacy preservation is one of the desired concerns in trust distribution inside mobile networks so this conjunction is the matter of concerns of our work.
