Abstract— The wide diffusion of Internet has produced a significant growth of the demand of web-based applications with more and more strict requirements of reliability, usability, inter-operability and security. There are thousands of websites launched every year and nothing is worse than a poorly operating website. Website testing is most important to e-commerce sites since they have applications running on the website that may affect their sales or operations. This paper deals with the different types of techniques related to web testing, web bug report and automated tools required for web-application testing.
