Resource control and reconfiguration in software radio environment

The SoftWare Radio (SWR) concept is one of the emerging new technologies to solve nowadays bottlenecks in the converging telecommunication and information systems. In this paper we give a survey about resource control and reconfiguration support in software radio architecture developed in the frames of European CAST (Configurable radio with Advanced Software Technology) project.
