Incentive and selection for D2D content sharing: A comprehensive scoring mechanism

Jianzhang He, Wang Haibo, Tao Zhang · 2016

In this work, we focus on how to motivate and select content providers in the content sharing Device-to-Device (D2D) communications. The approach we adopt is proposing a comprehensive scoring mechanism considering the historical content supply record, the current transmission rate and the score of expected reward. Furthermore, a sensitivity threshold is defined to represent the content receivers degree of demand on transmission rate for different requested data volume. Simulation results illustrate that our proposed mechanism can motivate users to participate content sharing process safely by controlling the actual received reward and ensure the quality of service for different desired content sizes at the same time.
